Friday, January 22, 2010 at 10:14PM One of the last weddings of the season for us was Tanya and Russ's wedding on Halloween day. The wedding ceremony and reception both took place in St. Lawrence Hall in downtown Toronto. A very dramatic hall with cathedral heigh ceilings! Everyone was getting ready only a couple blocks away over at The Grand Hotel. We started off our photo shoot on the roof of the hotel then made our way over to the hall. In Toronto you need a permit to photograph wedding parties in the city parks, so we did our photoshoot in the streets instead. A couple of the photos we even posed at the edge of the park (still on the sidewalk) and took advantage of the beautiful fall leaves. We were able to take advantage of a great variety of backgrounds and no permits were needed. Being halloween I don't know how many of the on lookers new a wedding was in progress or just thought we were going to a halloween party in wedding costume.
